Note as per CSDMA – 2006 [08100]: “Spot welding leaves small marks on the face of welded stiffener construction doors which may be visible after the application of finish paint. Their removal is difficult and may be impractical. These are inherent in the product and are not to be considered as manufacturing defects. The use of translucent paints, paints with a gloss rating greater than 20% when measured with a 60 degree gloss meter, or dark colours, are not recommended. Where aesthetics are seen as a more critical issue, the Specifier should consider utilizing laminated core construction.”
